The Embassy of Peru, under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Paul Duclos, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru, hosted the highly anticipated art exhibition "Conciencia/Awareness" at the 172G Gallery in Seoul. The exhibition highlights the work of renowned artist Ivan Ciro Palomino, who uses his art to address pressing social issues, advocate for peace, and promote environmental consciousness.

The exhibition “Conciencia/Awareness” includes 43 illustrations that address various topics such as war and its consequences, the situation of the Korean peninsula, climate change, freedom of expression, emigration, education, among other topics.

The pieces exhibited by Ciro do not need any interpretation, because as he himself points out, “each work is an imaginary character that tells us about its problems”, in which “art allows us to build paths of reflection”.

For the artist, the visual message can be so powerful today that it reaches every corner of the planet through communication networks. In this way, “art can unite borders with a single objective: to raise awareness”.

The exhibition will be open to the general public until September 6.
