Echoes of the Earth: Advocating for Environmental Protection
Ivan Ciro Palomino’s art acts as an echo of the Earth’s cry for protection, urging viewers to reconsider the delicate relationship between humanity and the natural world. His depictions of devastated landscapes, endangered ecosystems, and nature’s fragility are rendered with a striking sense of urgency. Through his work, he conveys the weight of climate change, environmental degradation, and humanity’s role in both the problem and the solution.
In our first article, we provided a general overview of Palomino’s thematic focus on social issues like war and climate change. However, in this follow-up, we aim to highlight his environmental advocacy in greater depth. Palomino’s art does more than simply illustrate the problem; it calls for action, offering hope that collective human efforts can restore the balance between humanity and nature.
We are presenting these works using photos from the exhibition, along with a limited selection of images available on Palomino’s webpages. However, we are confident that readers will still appreciate the artist’s vision. His commitment to environmental preservation shines through in every piece, allowing the underlying message to transcend the medium.
Palomino’s art serves as a universal language—one that speaks to the urgent need for environmental protection. Through this series of articles, we hope to bring his call for environmental justice to the forefront, inspiring readers to reflect on their own role in safeguarding the planet for future generations.
