천년의 역사와 전통을 이어온 한국의 명문가 반남박씨 대종중이 가문의 정체성과 정신을 담아낸 ‘대종중가(大宗中歌)’를 공식 제정했다.
이번 대종중가는 선조의 얼과 후손의 자긍심, 세대 간 화합의 정신을 하나의 선율로 담아낸 가문의 대표 상징곡으로 받아들여지고 있다.
대종중 홍보·교육 자문위원회는 지난 7일 회의를 열고 대종중가 최종본을 확정했으며, 이 노래는 오는 19일과 20일 거행될 반남대제(潘南大祭)에서 처음으로 공식 제창될 예정이다.
작사·작곡을 맡은 박승동 씨는 “조상의 숨결을 음악에 담는 일은 후손으로서의 큰 소명”이라며 “한 줄의 가사, 한 음의 멜로디마다 반남박씨의 얼을 새긴다는 마음으로 완성했다”고 말했다.
그는 또한 “이 노래가 세대를 잇는 정신적 자산이 되길 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
이번 사업은 제20대 도유사 박승원의 리더십 아래 추진되었다.
박 도유사는 “전통을 지키는 일은 과거의 반복이 아니라 미래로 나아가는 창조적 계승”이라며 “대종중가는 후손을 묶어주는 문화적 상징으로 오랫동안 불리게 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

The Bannam Park Clan, one of Korea’s most historically esteemed lineages, has officially established the Grand Clan Song (Daejongjung-ga), a symbolic anthem embodying the spirit of the ancestors, the pride of descendants and the timeless value of intergenerational harmony.
The song is recognized as a cultural milestone that transforms the clan’s identity and values into a musical expression.
The Public Relations and Education Advisory Committee confirmed the final version of the anthem during a meeting on the seventh. The Grand Clan Song will be formally presented for the first time during the Pan-Nam Great Rite (Bannam Daeje) on the nineteenth and twentieth of this month.
Composer and lyricist Park Song-dong stated that creating a song that carries the breath and legacy of the ancestors was both an honor and a profound responsibility. He added that he hopes the anthem will become a lasting symbol of unity for future generations.
The project was initiated under the leadership of Do-yu-sa Park Seung-won, the twentieth head of the Bannam Park Clan. He emphasized that preserving tradition is not merely repeating the past but a creative succession toward the future, noting that the newly established anthem will serve as a cultural bridge connecting the clan’s present and future generations.
