Suwon, Republic of Korea โ€“ Culture Masters, in partnership with leading cultural institutions such as the Gunpo Chapter of the Korea Entertainment and Arts Association and the ICCN, with support from Gyeonggi Province, is proud to announce IP-WIN 2025 (Invitational Performance of World Intangible Heritage), the worldโ€™s first joint performance dedicated to traditional vocal arts inscribed on UNESCOโ€™s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The event will be held from October 17โ€“18, 2025, in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

IP-WIN 2025 features two consecutive evening performances and an international cultural forum:

This yearโ€™s IP-WIN focuses on vocal traditions that embody the cultural emotions and identities of diverse communities. Five acts will explore the human condition through soundโ€”from ancestral shamanistic rhythms to classical lyrical poetry, uniting voices across continents.

๐Ÿ”— International Participation

IP-WIN 2025 is currently accepting applications from traditional music and vocal ensembles that meet the following criteria:

โ€ข The repertoire must include vocal or music-based forms inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list
โ€ข Each group may consist of up to 10 members, including the director
โ€ข International airfare must be covered by the sending country or sponsoring organization
โ€ข Local expensesโ€”including accommodation, meals, and in-country transportationโ€”will be covered by the organizers
โ€ข Sponsoring institutions that provide airfare support for participating groups will be officially recognized as Official Partners of IP-WIN 2025 and will receive a certificate of appreciation
โ€ข Selected teams may receive priority invitations to the PRE-WIN 2026 and WIN 2028 global festivals

*Teams not currently listed in the program above may still apply for consideration, provided their performance aligns with the theme of vocal and musical traditions of humanity.
